Note about Joomla Versions
When you start your Joomla hosting, the version of this open source content management system isnt exactly much of a problem. In fact, its better to get the latest version of Joomla so youll get all the updated features.
However, some people who have been into Joomla hosting for quite some time now might have issues with versions. One of the most important things to note is that, for some reason, the cms has never created an upgrade patch for version 1.5 and all the previous versions. This issue becomes more prevalent when you want to transfers hosting accounts or websites it wont be easy to make the switch if youre transferring content from a 1.0 Joomla built site to a new one on version 1.5.
Right now, the only solution for this joomla hosting problem is to transfer old content on a newly built site using a migration path. The idea is to simply build the new site, and transfer old files to it using the migration path that this has built.
